Skynkorea was born from a deeply personal moment of discovery. Our founder, like so many New Zealanders, stumbled upon Korean skincare and felt something shift — not just in her skin, but in how she thought about self-care entirely. The textures were different. The ingredients were thoughtful. The philosophy was about nurturing your skin, not masking it.
But here's the thing: finding authentic, high-quality K-beauty products in New Zealand was frustratingly hard. The good stuff — the brands Koreans actually trust and use — wasn't making it to our shelves. So in 2023, from Auckland, she decided to bridge that gap herself.
